The MSHA Classic Golf Tournament supports a local philanthropy chosen by Class 59. A portion of the funds raised will be donated to the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center, the only National Cancer Institute designated comprehensive cancer center in the Deep South.

In addition, the event provides travel funds for students who are interested in attending healthcare conferences for professional development and networking opportunities, such as ACHE, MGMA, HIMSS, and NAHSE.
